How does the RO system integrate with Part 1 (3-Stage Filtration System)?

The RO system is designed to work seamlessly after Part 1. Water first goes through the 3-stage filtration and then enters the RO system for further purification.

What does the 1:1 waste ratio mean, and why is it important?

Our RO system produces 1 gallon of purified water for every 1 gallon of wastewater, unlike traditional RO systems that can waste 3-4 gallons for every 1 gallon produced. This significantly improves water efficiency and cost.

Do I need Part 1 to use the RO system, or can I use Part 2 alone?

While the RO system can function on its own, we strongly recommend using it with Part 1 for optimal performance and longevity of the RO membrane.

How often do I need to replace the RO membrane and post carbon filter?

The RO membrane typically lasts 3-5 years, while the post carbon filter should be replaced every 12 months. However, this can vary based on water quality, usage and if 3 stage system filters have been replaced every 12 months.

Will the RO system remove beneficial minerals from my water?

Yes, the RO process removes most minerals. If you want to add minerals back, consider adding Part 3 (Alkaline Filter) to your setup.
